as a centralized, organized, and systematic effort to manage surplus & used
equipment, material, and scrap and recover some of the original capital
investment. VTS provides the opportunity for potential buyers and sellers to
find or liquidate items for sale.

The Investment Recovery
Section is responsible for managing surplus assets through reuse,
refurbishment or disposal. These surplus assets would include machinery and
equipment, maintenance and operating materials and scrap metals. In other
words, anything the Supply Chain might purchase, the Investment Recovery
Section of VTS may be
able to dispose of.
